some gifts are expected – holidays, birthdays – but some defy modern conventions and stem from observation and intuition. this is such a gift. a gift that is appreciated more than can be expressed with mere verbiage
Philip Rosedale created Second Life inspired by the book Snow Crash. a ,sometimes steampunk, metaverse ensued and many people have found a infinitely creative space. thank you Philip for the vision and actualization of this new creative art form
that platform is used for corporate, educational, and individual expression of what, imo, is at the core of every human spirit: creativity
this gift is proof of the beauty of that creative spirit within us all
a gift that touches the heart; whether flesh, metal, or ethereal. the Australian Aborigines have it right with dreamtime and this is proof, this did not exist until someone dreamed of it and created it
thank you A. for the most wonderful gift XD
