lol, except for whacky eyes and a flat hairdo, this is ReactionGrid. this is using the current Second Life viewer so everything is in the same place and works the same
the massively big diff is in-world money. there is none. so it’s costs nothing to take pics or upload textures (note same shirt from sl, but newly washed, so it smells nice) =D
don’t freak about iliveisl and second life, that is still on the same biz plan and it seems that land sales are picking up (they tend to in the northern hemisphere winter months)
so why is the ener weiner in ReactionGrid?
well on the request (read: pleading and bribing with the promise of poutine) of Subquark to give it a test spin. he is so bent on it that he is having a call with the ceo/founder guy about doing some e-learning and business stuff in there (thank goodness, some of those e-learning people are not too appreciative of our estate – but that guy was french and the only thing worse are french canadians!) =D
he is such a nut on it that he already grabbed a domain name for the possible something or other he is planning (do encourage him, it keeps him out of our hair) =p
as for me, i’ll stick to the lag i know so well and the most awesome people isl ever! =) have fun subbie, send a post card from time to time . . .
ps - i guess that “m” is for Dr_Manhattan, the founder guy’s name on Twitter. overall, it’s a cool offering but not second life – it is ideal though for what subbie wants to do. drat, i forgot to try building, i think you can make megaprims. but without martinis in a virtual world, what’s the point? =D
pps – ooh, they have a flickr site, but they really should customise the flickr url to read pretty: http://www.flickr.com/photos/30456505@N06/
tip: in your flickr profile under account > personal information you can change our default url to be more “normal” like: http://www.flickr.com/photos/iliveisl/

Reaction Grid does look good. We looked at it for the museum and it is more economical than Second Life. The board was also swayed by Reaction Grid’s focus on education.
Thank you for your time in helping me pull together the proposal. Your arguments, both pro and con, were instrumental and influential to the board.
I hope we move forward with this project and wish your David the best.
